2021 Meeting Information
Meeting #1
Maverick Camporee 2021 is scheduled for the weekend of September 24-26. Our first planning meeting this year will be virtual on Sunday March 7 starting at 7pm. Log in information for this meeting has been emailed to Scoutmasters and Committee Chairs for each unit in the Lost Dutchman District. If you haven't received this information, please reach out to our email.
Meeting #2
We will be holding planning meeting #2 at Falcon Field Park in north Mesa. The meeting is scheduled from 7-8pm on Sunday April 11. Units should bring their game/activity ideas for Camporee. These games should have a movie (G or PG rated and Scoutmaster approved) theme, be run with 2 stations minimum and have an adult supervising. Try to use scouting skills in the game.
We will have discussion about the proposed games and activities as well as services to be performed to gain points for the overall score. Plans for meeting number three will also be finalized and any other business that comes up.

Meeting #3
This meeting location is still to be determined, but will be at 7pm on Sunday May 2. For this meeting we will be putting the finishing touches on the event and hope to be publishing the guide with game information immediately following. More information to come. Patch design submissions are also due by this meeting.
Patch Designs
Each year youth participants are invited to submit designs for the patch and logo that will be used for Camporee. Designs can be up to 13 colors, 3" in size (no shape restrictions) and use the theme (Maverick Camporee at the Movies - take 2021), Lost Dutchman District, 2021 and fleur de lis (BSA logo). Also needed is either BSA or Boy Scouts of America (must be on one line). Additional items could include Camp Geronimo, Grand Canyon Council, etc.
